In an increasingly competitive manufacturing environment it is imperative for organizations to adopt lean practices to achieve customer satisfaction and thrive as an organization. Toyota Production system or TPS is a tried and trusted approach for assured results.

India is now in a sweet spot for becoming a global manufacturing hub. Adopting TPS will strengthen our competitiveness and help India's goal of 5 Trillion GDP BY 2025.

TPS stands on 2 main pillars i.e., Just in Time and Jidoka with host of support systems which will be discussed in detail during the training.

The program shall be delivered by Mr. Krishnamurthy Upadhya.

He is a Mechanical Engineer with 40 years of experience in TIEI (Toyota Industries Engine India) and Ashok Leyland. Over 25 years of experience in Toyota Group started with KTTM (Textile Machinery) and later on in TIEI. Involved in establishing several green field projects with Global Diesel Engine manufacturing being one of them through various manufacturing functions.

Involved in implementation of several Toyota systems and initiatives in TIEI. Supported several Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers in implementing systems. Worked alongside several Toyota experts on Toyota systems during his stint at KTTM and TIEI. Prior to Toyota group, he had worked in Production Engineering and Projects at Ashok Leyland, Hosur.
