INTRODUCTION

Analytics in manufacturing refers to the use of operations and events data and technologies in the manufacturing industry to ensure quality, increase performance and yield, reduce costs, and optimize supply chains.

Keeping this in view IMTMA is organizing 3 days online programme on "Data Analytics for smart manufacturing: virtual workshop".

This course showcases real life applications of data analytics (descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive) in various functions of industry, such as production, inventory, maintenance, and quality, to discover the hidden patterns, predict the outcomes and improve the outcomes.

Participants will learn to define the right data set, ask the right questions to drive industrial system efficiency and business value, use the right models and tools to develop data-driven decisions.
