Understanding TPM and Roadmap for Implementation of TPM
Date : 25 to 26 June, 2024
Time : 1340 Hrs to 1700 Hrs ( Online Mode )

INTRODUCTION

TPM remains a widely adopted methodology in manufacturing industries worldwide. It continues to evolve and adapt to changing business environments and technological advancements, with a focus on maximizing equipment effectiveness, reducing waste, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. It is a great tool to achieve product cost reduction through the achievement of – Zero Breakdown, Zero Accidents and Zero Defects.  This involves a change in mindset on the part of Production and better application of skill on the part of Maintenance to eliminate forced deterioration, thereby extending the life of critical equipment.

In the current context of Indian Manufacturing Industries getting more opportunities to export and exponentially grow, a pre-requisite would be to have reliable systems and equipment in place so that we can deliver the best Quality products at optimum cost. Embracing TPM principles is the right step in that direction.

This abridged version of training is planned to – give insight, motivate and help the team to implement TPM concepts in the Organization.

Target functions: Whole of Operations team – Mainly Production & Maintenance team, including – Production Engineering, Design, PPC/Logistics, Quality & Safety departments, Academic institutions, etc.
