The current emphasis of 'Make in India" and thrust being on exports makes it imperative that the industries develop their skills and knowledge levels to succeed. One of the concern areas, is the "Compliance and legal requirements of the exporter and importer", which is often neglected in the beginning by the stake holders resulting in time delay, loss, etc., To sell a product in Global market one needs to understand and comply to the relevant "Law of Land" right from the design stage to avoid any non-compliances. The manufacturer should also know the options available for conformity assessment. Cases of Manufacturers exporting products and incurring losses, owing to lack of knowledge of export compliances are prevalent these days. Hence it is important to understand the requisite export compliances before venturing into exporting of products to other countries.

Keeping this in mind, Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers Association along with Hosur Industries Association is organizing a training program on CE Marking. This program is aimed at providing an insight to the manufacturers of products and machinery intending to sell their products in the European markets, North American and GCC markets.

This programme will benefit companies which plans to make it big in the global market can depute their decision makers such as CEO's, Senior Management personnel, Quality professionals from the company, Design experts, Marketing managers, etc., for whom compliance knowledge is a must.

Mr. Sathyendra has been engaged into domestic & international certification for the last 40 years. He held senior positions in organizations like BIS, CSA International, Intertek, etc., He is engaged in Consultancy & Training activities for the last more than 8 years and had been associated with many certification agencies for third party inspections. He is also a trainer for ISO13485 for medical devices , ISO/IEC 17025 for labs and ISO/IEC 17020 for inspection agencies for FICCI, Quality forum etc . He was the Chairman of the quality cell for IEEMA & Secretary for ISLE Karnataka, past assessor NABL and a technical expert for NABCB.
