INTRODUCTION
Effective Manufacturing Strategy and Excellence in Manufacturing are the real competitive differentiator in today's world. Excellent Manufacturing organization continually improve Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety performance and Morale of its employees, that are key factors to make a Manufacturing Operation World class and live up to changing customers' expectations on regular basis. A Manufacturing organization must have a strategic plan and initiative to learn global best practices, tools and techniques by all levels of people in the organization and implement the same effectively to get desired results and stay ahead of competition. It is all the more imperative today when many organizations are struggling for profitability and Government of India is prioritizing 'Make in India' for both local consumptions and global supplies. Many new global organizations are expected to set up their operations in India in coming months due to changing global scenario. Keeping this in view, Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) is organizing a training programme on "World Class Manufacturing : What, Why and How – Tools and Techniques". |

Faculty
The program shall be delivered by Mr. Shashiprakasha L S. Mr. Shashiprakasha L S, is a Mechanical Engineer & MBA with 40 years of experience in all manufacturing functions – across Automotive, Non-Automotive (Precision Engineering, Heavy Engineering, Capital Equipment Polymer Industries). He has been a Lean Practitioner since the year 2000. He has been a senior management professional for over 2 decades - COO & CEO in multiple organizations including MNCs and reputed Indian companies. Having been responsible for P&L for many years, he is able to explain financial linkages to operational challenges. Having led different teams through Change Management, he featured in Business Today for effecting turnaround from a very difficult industry and was called the ‘Josh Machine’. He has authored a book titled – ‘A Journey from Impossible to I’m Possible’ which is about how huge improvements were achieved in multiple organizations under different environments. He is a good orator and has a penchant for teaching concepts through stories and anecdotes. |

REGISTRATION : Prior registration for participation is necessary. Number of participants is limited and will be accepted on ‘First Come First Serve’ basis.
