Applied Welding Technology For Engineering Professionals
Date : 21 to 22 September, 2026
Venue : IMTMA Technology Centre, Bengaluru

LAST DATE FOR REGISTRATION 14 September 2026
INTRODUCTION

Welding is a critical manufacturing and joining technology used extensively in power, defence, aerospace, automotive, railways, heavy engineering, oil & gas, infrastructure and fabrication industries.

For engineering professionals, effective application of welding technology requires more than knowledge of welding processes. It involves understanding materials, weldability, process selection, welding parameters, joint design, welding procedures, defects, inspection, quality requirements and applicable standards.

Keeping this in view, Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) is organizing a 2 days offline training programme on "Applied Welding Technology for Engineering Professionals".

The programme combines welding science, engineering principles, practical considerations, quality control and applicable international standards, enabling participants to make better technical decisions related to welded fabrication.
