Online Training on Cost Effective & Collaborative Automation - Need of the hour for Industry
Date : 17 July, 2020
Time : 1000 Hrs to 1300 Hrs ( Online Mode )

INTRODUCTION

As Indian industry is gearing up for restoring normalcy, business challenges are multifold. On one side there is weak demand and cash flow preventing new investment. At the same time, there is a serious shortage of man apower due to migrant labour. There is a clear need to reduce dependence on labour for unskilled jobs. In this scenario, cost effective automation would be one of the right solutions to maximize productivity. Economic justification of automation and optimum usage of available resources is equally important in these difficult times.

It is challenging to follow the new norm of social distancing on one hand and compact workplaces to reduce material handling and floor space minimising on the other hand. Collaborative automation may well become the new norm, where social distancing can be maintained and through human friendly automation, productivity maintained and improved.

Keeping this in view, Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) is organizing an online training on Cost Effective & Collaborative Automation – Need of the hour for Industry.
