INTRODUCTION
In any Manufacturing set up Grinding is a Finishing Process which involves multiple parameters like work material with correct heat treatment, Process Parameters, selection of right grinding wheels, Machine requirement and Skill of the operator. A combined knowledge of these aspects can aid in getting the best possible outcome where grinding is needed. Lastly, since it is a final and a critical operation, any rejections at this stage involves high costs. Keeping this in view, Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) is organising a 2 day programme on Enhancing Productivity in Grinding Operations. |
