Sheet Metal Forming - Advanced course including Hydroforming, TWB and Hot Forming Date : 28 to 29 May, 2020 Location / Mode : Pune INTRODUCTIONThe multiple facets of modern sheet metal forming techniques are applied throughout a wide spectrum of manufactured products, ranging from following sectors: aerospace, defence automotive, medical implants down to enclosures, impellers, fans, reflectors, stampings for electrical engineering and clutch plates to mass manufacturing of drums and tin cans for packaging industry. While Stamping Dies, Cutting, Bending, Spinning Machines have been around for a long time and are now considered as “Conventional Sheet Forming Technologies” , most recent development in these technologies are coming through Automation and Performance Improvements; there are modern emerging Advanced Technologies for meeting special requirements of prototyping and special materials for special properties E.g., Advent of Advanced High Strength Steels and Composites substituting Sheet Metal Parts. These technologies are relatively lesser known in Industry and hold key to the future developments. Keeping this in view, Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) is organizing 2 day programme on Advanced technology in Sheet forming on 28 - 29 May 2020 at Pune.
After undergoing the programme, the participants will be able to - • Insight about newer possibilities of sheet metal forming This programme will benefit Managers, Engineers and Middle Management personnel involved in Production, Process Planning, Methods, and other related areas from Automobile & auto ancillaries, Machine tool, CNC Shops, Defence & Railway establishments, General Engg. and other manufacturing industries. This programme will be conducted by Mr. Avinash Khare Mr. Avinash Khare is Former Asst. General Manager at Tata Motors, Pune.
