Mr. N. Swaminathan is a Mechanical engineer with over 40 years of professional experience. He joined BFW Ltd as R&D engineer and was involved in developing a vertical machining centre. He co-founded Leonardo Automation in 1986 as Technical Director looking after design to customer service. The powerpacks built by him have the capacity to handle a maximum pressure of 2500 kg /cm2 and a flow of 1200 lpm. He has served customers like GE (Austria) / Nuclear power corporation / Siemens / ARAI.

Mr. M Khallaq, has over 40 years of rich experience in machine tool design. He was associated with HMT R&D Division, Bangalore and was involved in various CNC machine tool projects right from 1970 upto 1998. He was freelancer and designconsultant to WIDMA and BFW. Today he is at the helm of the affairs of XL CNC Machines as the Chairman and Technical director.

Dr. T Krishna Rao – Served in Various Positions in HMT Machine Tools Limited in Design and Development Department for 24 years. After a stint in HMT, he moved to teaching domain with his additional degrees and honors. He has overall teaching experience of 17 years as Professor, Head and Principal for 8 years.

Dr. V Bharat is a Mechanical engineer, with a post-graduation in CAD-CAM and has completed his PhD with a specialization in Powder metallurgy. He is well versed in FE Analysis and FEM techniques. He is currently working as Professor, with Global Academy of Technology, Bangalore. He has an overall academic experience of over 16 years. He has published several papers and conducted a number of workshops on Mechanical engineering-related topics.

Mr Dhananjay M. Apte, Master in Engineering (Mechanical) has over 25 years of experience. Presently working as Management & Engineering Consultant, Faculty and Industry Trainer in Six Sigma, DOE and QC Tools along with Managerial/ Supervisory Effectiveness, Project & Productivity Enhancement skills, Statistical Quality & Process Control (SQC, SPC) and Operations Research. He has conducted many Training programs and consultancy assignments in Six Sigma, DOE, QC tools and many m ore topics.

Mr Ravi Shankar Nadig, holds a Mechanical Engineering degree, is a Manufacturing and Dimensional Management Professional with 27 years of experience in Machine tool, Automotive and Aerospace industries, He has worked as a Scientist in Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI), Bangalore (9 years) and as a Consultant in Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for 15 years His core competency is in Design and Manufacture of precision machine elements for Defence and Space applications, Manufacturing Engineering support for Fabrication of sheet metal parts of Aero Engine assemblies, Dimensional Management -Tolerance Stack Analysis of Automotive and Aero engines, GD&T practice and training, and Rapid Prototyping. He is a Senior GD&T professional certified by ASME (Y14.5-2009).

Mr. Manoharan, has over 39 years of experience in the areas of Design, Development, Project Engineering / Management, and Marketing in diversified industries. His expertise spans multiple domains like Pollution Control, Cement Plants, Power, Oil & Gas, Gas Turbines, and Industrial Automation. His strength is in providing global engineering support on design and development of Mechanical Engineering Projects. Had been actively provided engineering support to prestigious Customers like GE, Rolls-Royce, Siemens, Procter & Gamble, Halliburton and Baker Hughes. He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and secured PG Diploma in Ecology and Environment and PG Management from IIM, Calcutta.

Mr. H V Rajashekara, Advisor IMTMA has 28 years’ experience on Design and Development of Metal cutting machines from various industry like M/s HMT Machine Tools, M/s Johnson Electric International Limited, Hong Kong and 7 years as Senior Director, IMTMA Design Institute. He has overall experience of 35 Years from both shop floor and training.

Mr. S K Gupta has worked as an Assistant General Manager, Machine Design & Business Development, Tata Motors - Machine Tools division, Pune. He has over 3 decades of professional experience in the area of Machine Tools, jigs and fixturing practices. He is now working as design consultant for cnc machine tools, SPMs and other industrial equipment.

Mr. Pravin Deore has completed his MS from Warwick University, UK. He has more than 23 years of experience in press tool industry, which includes 17 years in press tool design and rest is in manufacturing & try-out. He has worked with Mahindra & Mahindra for 13 years in the position of Deputy Manager Design. At Godrej Tooling, he is working as Head of Press Tool Engineering. During his tenure of 9 years, Godrej Tooling has successfully included HSS parts & Skin parts into their portfolio.

Mr. Mohanram has been with IMTMA as Senior Advisor for the past 15 years and is serving the Machine Tool and Manufacturing industries. He has contributed immensely for bringing out Machine Tool ‘Vision Document’ and numerous Technology reports. He is also instrumental in setting-up of Advanced Machine Tool Testing Facility (AMTTF) in Bangalore and supporting the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Development Centre (AMTDC) at IIT-Madras, Chennai. He has played an enabling role in Tumakuru Machine Tool Park (TMTP) set up by the Government of Karnataka in collaboration with the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI), Government of India. Mr. PJ Mohanram is the recipient of the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award 2021 by AIMTDR (All India Manufacturing Technology, Design and Research) for his contribution to industry-academia collaboration. Mr. Mohanram has served as the Managing Director of HMT (International) Limited. He is an alumni of Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering having more than 25 years industrial experience in SPM Design, Jigs, Fixture Design, Process planning for machined components. In addition, he has 4+ years of experience in the Training domain at IMTMA. As Assistant Director, his role is to impart specialised training in Machine Design domain.

Mrs Uma graduated in Electronics from Bangalore University. She served in HMT R&D centre and Precision Machinery Division, in various capacities, for nearly 30 years and was superannuated during 2010. She was responsible for development of a variety of machines including CNC Machines, and various defence projects. Her main role was electrical & electronics system design, interfacing and commissioning at customer end. She was one of the main faculty for HMT MECHATRONICS programme at HMT Limited.

Mr. S.C. Balawat, a Metallurgical Engineering graduate, has over 40 years of Industrial Experience in Metallurgy and manufacturing. He has worked in BOSCH, for 10 years, and for 17 years in Automotive Axles Limited Mysore, manufacturers of Rear Axles for LCV and HCVs. In addition, he has worked for 13 years in John Fowler India Limited, Bangalore, specializing in post-harvest Agricultural machinery and primary Tobacco processing machineries.

Ganapathi K N, is an Advisor at IMTMA, having 16 years of industrial and 16 years of academic experience. He is a post graduate in metal casting science and engineering. Prior to working at IMTMA, he has worked at various capacity in many manufacturing companies. He has also imparted specialized training on Metallurgy, Heat treatment, GD&T, Metal casting and other manufacturing processes domain to more than 2000 engineers across manufacturing companies in India. Mr. Kothari is a Mechanical Engineer by profession, has more than 25 Years of experience in the machine tool industry and in gear manufacturing. He has worked with organizations like Premier Ltd., Pune, a pioneer and a renowned machine tool company in India since 1944. He is an accomplished professional having wide exposure in Application Engineering of Machine Tools , Gear Cutting Machines, Gear manufacturing, Machining Centers and Vertical Turn-mill Centers. Mr. T K RAMESH, is an undergraduate in Physics, Engineering graduate in Electronics & Communication, Masters in Quality Management (BITS), and PG in Finance (IIM). He is an ISABS professional, a Certified NLP Practitioner, a Facilitator for MBTI, FIRO-B, and Appreciative Inquiry-based interventional learning processes, and a certified coach from SOL (South). Had served as a faculty member in GRC conferences, OD interventional programs, and outbound learning programs. His industry experience of over 30 years, spans the areas of Supply Chain, Operations, HRD, Training & Development, OD interventions, assessment systems and Performance Coaching.

Mr Satish P.S, a Post graduate from IIT, has 35+ years of Industrial Experience including 4 years in Germany. He worked for 23 years in Bosch in R&D, purchase, logistics and project management. He headed Robert Bosch IPO (International Purchase Office) in India for 10 Years and developed close to 25 Suppliers suitable for export. Mr. B Muralidhara, is an Industry Expert, worked with Ms/ HMT Machine Tools, Bangalore, an AMIE from The Institution of Engineers, holds Industrial experience of more than 38 years in the Design and Development of electrical/electronic controls for various machine tools. Started his career with the Design of Contactor logic for Cylindrical Grinding machines, Surface grinders, Gear shapers, SPMs, etc. With the evolution of PLCs, he worked on replacing contactor logic units to PLCs. He is well versed with all Siemens PLCs available as on date on various machine tools including SSMs & SPMs. In 1985, he worked on developing the CNC cylindrical Grinding machine using the Primo S system. Mr Shivakumar has extensive experience having worked in HMT R&D for over 25 years in development of CNC machine tools. Further, he was associated with THK for over 20 years as Technical advisor by providing technical assistance in selection and use of LM guides in various fields of engineering.

Mr. T K Venkatesh comes with 4 decades of rich experience in the CNC Machine Tools domain. After his graduation in Electronics & Communication Engineering, he had served HMT for 24 years in the Design & Development of CNC Machine Tools of different types as well as Automation systems. He was General Manager – Servicing at AMS for 15 plus years supporting all the customers in India as well as overseas. He had played a lead role in the Reliability Improvement program of CNC Machine Tools at AMS and IMTMA - ACMA Taskforce for benchmarking of electrical systems of CNC Machine Tools.

He is currently heading AMTTF, providing testing & development services to machine tool industries and accessories manufacturers.

Mr. Ramadas R Nambi is an industry expert with over 30 years of experience in the area of CNC control systems, CNC machines, Industrial robots & Unmanned Factory automation. M. Krishnamoorthy is the Senior Director of IMTMA Technology Centre and an authorized training instructor with ASME, NY for delivering accredited ASME GD&T Trainings. He has undergone advanced training in GD&T from ASME in Seattle, USA. He is a certified ASME GDTP Senior Professional after successful completion of Senior Level GDTP certification examination by ASME, USA. For over 30 years of his continued engineering practice in the industry, he has acquired astute expertise in the application and use of GD&T principles in CAD/CAM, high precision CNC machining as well as conducting Technical Training. He has imparted specialized training in GD&T for more than 800 engineers across manufacturing companies in India and assisted them in implementing GD&T in design through manufacturing. Mr. Doshi is former Vice President & Technical Director, PMT Machine Tool Automatics Ltd., Pune and has also served in Tata Motors for over 5 years.

Mr. Avinash Khare, is presently working as a Consultant Head for IMTMA Pune Technology Centre for last 5 years ; he has been designing, developing content and delivering wide range of Training Courses as a Faculty. He is Electrical Engineer by Qualification and he has worked for over 33 years at Tata Motors Pune in various capacities ranging from R&D in Industrial Electronics, Machine Maintenance, Technology Procurement, Head of Machine Shops, Tool Room Shop Head, Head of Die Design and Champion in Business Excellence. He has taught Instrumentation and Bio Medical Instrumentation at Pune University as part time faculty.

Mr. Majumdar is a Management and Operational Excellence Consultant. He is a Mechanical Engineer with Six sigma Master Black Belt, Lean Black Belt, TQM trained in Japan. He is having more than 11 years of experience in Technical Training and has acquired expertise in the application and use of GD&T principles in precision manufacturing of components as well as experience in conducting training programs. He has imparted training in CNC, CAD/CAM, Robot & GD&T for more than 500 engineers. Prior to working at IMTMA, he has worked at NTTF, Bangalore as a Senior Training Officer. Mr. Yuvaraj Patil is a mechanical engineer having more than 15 years of experience in CNC Machine Shop & Tool Room. Mr. Sushant Tangade is an expert in machine tool manufacturing, try-out, New Product Development and proving with 6+ years of experience in NPPL, Super Auto India Ltd. Ms. K. Lakshmi Kumari has done her BE in electronics and communication and Worked in HMT Machine Tools Limited, Bangalore for 36 years, in various levels from Engineer Trainee to DGM (D & D). She has involved in the Design & Development of various SPMs, Conventional machines, CNC Turning machines, CNC Grinding machines, Horizontal and Vertical Machining centers, Flow Forming Lathe etc. Also Experienced in Reconditioning-Upgradation of Conventional Machines to CNC Machines. She has trained many New Engineers, Graduate Apprentice Trainees and Customers on Relay Logic design, Introduction to CNC system and drives and PLC programming.

His company represents well known brands such as Feintool and Benteler. He was formerly working as Managing Director with ABP Induction and as Vice President with Schuler India, responsible for Sales and service activities. He has also worked with Mahindra Intertrade limited in various capacities including as Head of Sharjah Operations.

Mr Padmanarayanan, is a technology professional with over 5 decades of high quality experience in the areas of High pressure die-casting, gravity diecasting, Low pressure diecasting, SMED, Setting up tool rooms, productivity improvement and rejection reduction. During his professional career, he was associated with several companies such as Sundaram Clayton, Semco Electric, Columbia Wheel manufacturing, Eqic Dies and moulds, Rapsri Engineering Industries, Dietech India, AR Die Casts, Hyderabad Engineering Industries, and Endurance Technologies.

Mr. P V Dhanadan is a Professional Mould & Die tooling specialist, with over 4 decades of high quality tooling experience, received his professional qualification from NTTF, Tellichery. He underwent an Advanced Tool making training from Sanyo, Japan and AMV, Italy. He started his professional career with NTTF as a faculty. He later went on to work as Head, BPL Tool Room, Bangalore and Palakkad and at Videocon Tool Room in Aurangabad. He currently is a Technical adviser to TTK Prestige, Pigeon Appliances GRS Industries.

Mr. Joseph Abraham is a professional with more than 40 years of experience in Tool Designing & Manufacturing, Plastic injection Moulding, Training, Quality Management and Product design & Development. He worked as a Vice-Principal with NTTF. He has worked as a Tool Room Manager with several organizations such Balda Solutons,Malaysia, BPL Tool room, Bangalore and Tool Product singapore. He currently provided training and tooling consultancy to several small scale industries.

Mr. M. C. Ramakrishnan is an industry expert with over 40 years of experience in the field of quality tools like Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, Poka - Yoke etc. He is a trained ISO 9001 and TS 16949 auditor, trained six sigma black belt as well as an FMEA moderator. He has championed a number of Quality Improvement projects at Bosch. He was associated with Bosch’s campaign and pursuit for 5S, Poka Yoke, SPC, MSA & TPM initiatives.

Mr. Sathyendra is an international certification expert with over 35 years of professional experience. He held senior positions in organizations like BIS, CSA International, Intertek, etc., He is engaged in Consultancy & Training activities for the last more than 5 years and associated with many certification agencies for third party inspections. He is also a trainer for ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025 for labs and ISO/IEC 17020 for inspection agencies. He served with Bureau of Indian standards (BIS) for 17 years - (final posting as Director), handled Inspections and testing for UL-USA, SABS (South Africa).

Mr. Mohan, an engineer by profession, was associated with Bosch for over 27 years, as part of the quality department responsible for introduction, sustenance of Quality standards and quality tools in all Bosch plants across India. Prior to that, he was responsible for engineering and manufacturing gear pumps, process planning of elements, machine planning & procurement, New project coordination and Project management for electric power tools. In his last assignment at Bosch, he was the Quality head of the Automotive Electronics Plant at Bangalore. He has earlier worked with Tata Motors for over 6 years and was responsible for Process planning of transmission components & assembly and Process planning of dies, jigs and fixtures.

Mr. Ravikumar , is an experienced in Dimensional metrology with demonstrated experience of over 30 years in Sales, service and application of Metrology systems. He is highly skilled in Quality Management, Account Management and people management. In his professional career, he was associated for over 20 years with CMTI, heading the Metrology division and providing solutions to the Industry for Measurement problems in Dimensional metrology, Surface metrology, Gear metrology and guiding team to integrate metrology in to production. For the last 12 years, he was with Carl Zeiss India and is responsible for Technical services, Application engineering, Tech-center management, Assembly, Software development and software testing.

Mr Taranath is the Former Head of Precision Engineering, Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI), with over 40 years of technical expetise, Lead assessor for NABL and International Accreditation Service Inc. (USA) and an acknowledged expert in the field of Precision Measurements & Metrology. He is currently associated with International Accreditation Service (IAS), USA as a Staff Metrologist, Expert consultant and Accreditation Officer. His work involves assessment of laboratories, training, expert consultations and has conducted many programs worldwide.
