Fast changing globalised business environment has resulted in high quality products manufactured by companies using robust manufacturing processes and controls. Defects are now measured in terms of PPM levels compared to percentage levels in the past. PPM levels of quality can be achieved by limiting the opportunities to produce defects by choosing appropriate manufacturing processes, equipment, parameters and adherence.
This cannot be achieved without formal high quality education and training of employees at all levels.
IMTMA's advanced program on Metal Cutting with judicious mix of theory and application has provided the required skills to prevent defects by process design, maintenance and controls.
IMTMA is a Pioneer to commence the activity of skill development which is not only helping manufacturing but also showing the way and methodologies to other sector associations to follow for providing skills.
The course content and the practical methods of teaching of IMTMA has bridged the gap between industry requirements and educational capabilities of university graduates.
The training imparted at IMTMA Technology Centre excellently bridges the knowledge gap between academics and industry and covers all the contemporary needs of shopfloor. I am pleased to associate with IMTMA for the training programmes.
Our members from all departments such as QC, Maintenance, Manufacturing and PE attended the programme. All of them found the programme to be very knowledgeable and useful and were able to understand a critical process such as hardening.
I have heard rave reviews and glorious feedback from my teammates and from the participants and after the CNC Turning training our productivity improved.
