Introduction

Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) is organizing an exclusive hands-on training course namely “ Finishing School in Production Engineering” at IMTMA Technology Centre, Bangalore. 

This 4 weeks course will be very much suitable for fresh recruits. They are trained in latest manufacturing practices with major topics covering Engineering drawing, Limits, Fits & Tolerances, GD&T, Process planning, selection of  cutting tools & machining parameters, CNC Programming, CNC machine operations/ machining in Turning & Machining centres, Measuring instruments, CMM and work holding accessories. Thus the trainees are well prepared to serve manufacturing industries right from day ONE .

Mr. Preetham B M, Sr. Executive Officer at IMTMA.
He has 24+ years of experience from the Nuclear, Aerospace & Automation industry. Prior to IMTMA, he has worked at Avasarala Technologies Limited, as Assistant Manager, in the field of machining precision components using CNC machines. At IMTMA, as Senior Executive officer, his role is to impart hands-on training for young engineers making them Industry ready.

Mr. Maheswaran, Senior Executive Officer, IMTMA
He is having more than 13 years of experience in Technical Training and has acquired expertise in CNC manufacturing and Automation in the precision manufacturing of components as well as experience in conducting training programs. Prior to working at IMTMA, he has worked at NTTF as Senior Training Officer.

And some of the specialized topics will be handled by subject matter experts from various industries like Ace Designers, Auto CNC, Blazer, Kennametal, Saint Gobin, etc.


Important Information

  • The number of participants is limited to 15 on social distance parameter and registration will be accepted on ‘First Come First Serve’ basis.
  • Health Protocol during the program; participants must present Aarogya Setu app status, thermal scanning on entry and exit, wearing a face mask, periodical hand sanitization, and social distancing.
  • IMTMA shall strictly adhere to Government rules & regulations related to Covid 19. In case of a health emergency, if the GOK or GOI imposes any restrictions on Classroom Mode Training, either before or during the program, the same program will be conducted/continued later as per Government instructions.
  • Provisional certificate for COVID-19 Vacccination- 1st Dose is mandatory
