Primer Course in Sheet Metal Forming Date : 30 November to 1 December, 2021 Time : 1340 Hrs to 1700 Hrs Location / Mode : Online INTRODUCTIONA big proportion of professionals working in Sheet forming have learn't the tricks of the trade and the do’s & don’ts the hard way, through years of painstaking experiential learning. The onslaught of new technology and materials in this domain has been so rapid that there is a dire need for a short capsule covering the basics, new technologies along with practical aspects of meeting the taller demands on quality and process performance. In order to address this requirement; Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) is organising an online training programme on "Primer Course in Sheet Metal Forming".

This programme will be conducted by Prof. K.Narasimhan and Mr. Avinash Khare. Professor Narasimhan is Head of Metallurgy Department at IIT Bombay. He is driving "Sheet Metal Forming Research Association" which is an apex body in the field of Advanced Sheet Metal Forming related Research and Seminars. He has been a key resource person for IMTMA for its courses and International Seminars. Mr. Avinash Khare, is presently working as a Consultant Head for IMTMA Pune Technology Centre for last 5 years ; he has been designing, developing content and delivering wide range of Training Courses as a Faculty. He is Electrical Engineer by Qualification and he has worked for over 33 years at Tata Motors Pune in various capacities ranging from R&D in Industrial Electronics, Machine Maintenance, Technology Procurement, Head of Machine Shops, Tool Room Shop Head, Head of Die Design and Champion in Business Excellence. He has taught Instrumentation and Bio Medical Instrumentation at Pune University as part time faculty. REGISTRATION : Prior registration with an online advance payment is must. Number of participants is limited and will be accepted on ‘First Come First Serve’ basis. A Certificate of participation will be issued to participants. |
