Both from the control and protection point of view, the switchgears are very important in any electrical network. The knowledge of their working principle, construction, purpose, handling and maintenance can ensure the continuity of power supply and proper working of the plant and machinery. Also, the switchgears protect the electrical equipment downstream whether in the supply network or the machine control. The impact of loss of production for any reason is not a tolerable proposition from the business point of view. With this in view, the relevance of maintenance of switchgears cannot be undermined in any organization. While sufficient focus is being given to the maintenance aspects of machines and equipment, which are directly engaged in the production process, the supply and control system to the facility does not attract equal importance for the simple reason that its role is not directly visible though without which operation cannot be sustained. REGISTRATION : Prior registration for participation is necessary. Number of participants is limited and will be accepted on ‘First Come First Serve’ basis.
