Manufacturing being at the core of this, contributes a major share in engineering and efficient production of components or assemblies. Manufacturing industry right from ideas till the ready to use components making, going through huge challenges related to productivity, efficient people skilling, product designing, processes designing or manufacturing. If we reduce or eliminate these challenges so called as “problems” then it will directly impact on the quality of products, customer satisfaction and overall productivity of an organizations. This workshop will impart the basic learning on Problems, Types of problem, Problem solving ways, particular focus on 8D methodology, execution strategy and hands on experience to solve the workplace problems. Keeping this in view, Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association is organizing a training program on “PROBLEM SOLVING FOR SOLUTIONS- 8D METHODOLOGY”.

This programme will benefit to the plant functional teams including Plant Managers, Production Managers, Maintenance Managers, Quality Managers, New Product Development teams, Process Developments, Supervisors, Machine Operators and everyone who is interested to solve the shop floor related problems. The programme will be highly interactive, co-creating the problem-solving approach, and using adult learning principles. This programme will be conducted by Dr Ravikumar Kurhade. Dr Ravikumar, by education is M Tech from IIT Kharagpur, MBA & Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from SGBAU Amravati.
