INTRODUCTIONValue Engineering is a proven Technique for cost reduction and enhancing the value of product and processes. This is very essential for the company to remain competitive. Systematic analysis of the functions and its Value to remove redundant functions and features are addressed in Value Engineering. Value engineering (VE) and Value analysis (VA), with core methodology being same for both, differs only in the point of application phases of product life cycle. Keeping this in view, IMTMA is conducting a detailed training program on Value engineering to enhance competitiveness of Industry.

This program is focused on why value engineering is necessary, how it differs from other methodologies, various techniques and steps in value engineering. The topics will be explained with detailed examples, power-points, case studies and video. Trainer shares his vast experience in the domain. Apart from theoretical aspects, participants will be involved to do various exercises. Focus will be given to be more interactive to clarify any questions from current role of participants. Group exercises and discussions carried out during the programme, will enable the delegates to relate and discuss the questions they may have on topics including challenges if they have tried value engineering application. Managers and Engineers from areas of New product development, R&D, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, purchase, marketing, etc The program shall be delivered by Mr. Sachin Bhawsar. Mr. Sachin Bhawsar, is a M. Tech. in Manufacturing Management with 31 years of experience in all manufacturing functions – across Automobile & Automotive industries. He has been a Manufacturing Excellance (TPM/WCM/WPI) Practitioner since the year 2001. He has been a senior management professional for over 12 years – Functional Head/Plant Head/Director in multiple organizations including MNCs and reputed Indian companies. Having been responsible for P&L for many years, he is able to explain financial linkages to operational challenges. Having a rich experiences across Automobile & Automotive industries, he featured in Business Today for helping the industries in their difficult time to reduce losses and improve their business profit and efficiencies, also to upgrade the technical skills of their important assets (i. e. people) through extensive training modules. His journey in industry is full of achivements achieved in multiple organizations under different environments. He is a good orator and has a penchant for teaching concepts through his experience and able to connect the audiance with subjects and topics.
