INTRODUCTIONThe first step to enhance the process efficiency and quality of a Value Stream is to identify the waste in the process. Identification and elimination of Waste is the main objective of the Toyota Production System. Value Stream mapping aims to see flow of material and information across value stream, identify both Value added / Non-Value added activities and wastes in the flow. It enables the organization to focus on main priorities to achieve its goals. Elimination of waste requires a stepwise approach, in synchronization with the guidelines for creating a Lean Value Stream. It enables to begin the journey towards waste reduction. Then by implementing various guidelines and tools of Lean Manufacturing we design, develop and achieve much better Value stream. Keeping this in view, IMTMA is organizing an Training program on Value Stream Mapping.

This course is targeted for Managers and Engineers from Design, R&D, NPD, Manufacturing Engineering, Production and those who would like to implement Operational Excellence. It will also benefit managers and quality supervisors from machine tool, automobile and auto ancillaries, toolrooms, aerospace and general engineering. The program shall be delivered by Mr. Sachin Bhawsar. Mr. Sachin Bhawsar, is a M. Tech. in Manufacturing Management with 31 years of experience in all manufacturing functions – across Automobile & Automotive industries. He has been a Manufacturing Excellance (TPM/WCM/WPI) Practitioner since the year 2001. He has been a senior management professional for over 12 years – Functional Head/Plant Head/Director in multiple organizations including MNCs and reputed Indian companies. Having been responsible for P&L for many years, he is able to explain financial linkages to operational challenges. Having a rich experiences across Automobile & Automotive industries, he featured in Business Today for helping the industries in their difficult time to reduce losses and improve their business profit and efficiencies, also to upgrade the technical skills of their important assets (i. e. people) through extensive training modules. His journey in industry is full of achivements achieved in multiple organizations under different environments. He is a good orator and has a penchant for teaching concepts through his experience and able to connect the audiance with subjects and topics. REGISTRATION : Prior registration for participation is necessary. Number of participants is limited and will be accepted on ‘First Come First Serve’ basis.
