Youth Empowerment in Manufacturing Technology

Youth Empowerment in Manufacturing Technology

Date : 21 September to 4 November, 2026   Location / Mode : Bengaluru

Last date for registration 14 September 2026
INTRODUCTION

Manufacturing Engineering is a vital function of any industry that focuses on transforming product designs into efficient and cost-effective production processes. Manufacturing engineers face challenges such as process planning, selecting suitable manufacturing methods, optimizing resources, improving productivity, maintaining quality, minimizing waste, and ensuring timely delivery. A successful manufacturing engineer requires a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning and control, quality management, lean manufacturing, automation, and continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence.

Youth Empowerment is essential for building a skilled and industry-ready workforce. To equip young talent with the technical knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required by the manufacturing sector, IMTMA conducts training programmes as part of its Youth Empowerment Initiative. This initiative aims to enhance employability, bridge the industry-academia skill gap, and create career opportunities for aspiring youth, aligning with the primary objective of the Association and its member companies.
