Workshop on Data Analytics - Take Your Manufacturing To The Next Level Date : 29 to 31 August, 2023 Time : 0940 Hrs to 1700 Hrs Location / Mode : Online INTRODUCTIONAnalytics in manufacturing refers to the use of operations and events data and technologies in the manufacturing industry to ensure quality, increase performance and yield, reduce costs, and optimize supply chains. Keeping this in view IMTMA is organizing 3 days online programme on "Data Analytics for smart manufacturing: virtual workshop". This course showcases real life applications of data analytics (descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive) in various functions of industry, such as production, inventory, maintenance, and quality, to discover the hidden patterns, predict the outcomes and improve the outcomes. Participants will learn to define the right data set, ask the right questions to drive industrial system efficiency and business value, use the right models and tools to develop data-driven decisions.

In short, this program would aid professionals for the manufacturing organization to understand how analytics can be used to maximize yield and throughput. Further it can help them maximize their asset utilization by understanding their equipment behaviour and hence reduce the risks and costs associated with downtime or equipment failures. This programme will be conducted by Dr. J. B. Simha. Dr. J. B. Simha, AI implementation advisor at Numentrix Consulting. He is a Post Graduate in Maintenance Engineering and his PhD is in building Decision Support systems for Manufacturing. He is recognized as one of the top 10 experts in Data Science by Analytics Magazine, India. He has more than 25 years of experience in the development of AI based systems for manufacturing, telecom, health care and Process industries.
