INTRODUCTION

Economic growth in India calls for a conscious move towards quality, empowering consumers with options and increased consumer awareness. For manufacturing industries, this necessitates the concentration on quality in order to protect their brand image. The global competitive environment has enforced high degree of pressure on Cost reduction. The elimination of waste is key element of achieving cost reduction. Lean Management is very strong deployment processes driven by Top Management. This process utilizes a broad range of business process improvement tools, including Statistical Tools. Lean Management methodology facilitates the organization to be more and more value enriched and customer focused.

Keeping this in view, Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association (IMTMA) is organizing a 2-day training programme on " Lean Management and Value Stream Mapping".

What is Standardization - Concept

At the end of this program, the participants shall be able to:

1. Understand the Lean Management Framework
2. Guidelines on Waste identification and waste elimination
3. Guidelines to create a Lean Value Stream
4. Learn tool kit and develop skills to make a current state "AS IS" VSM
5. Learn tool kit and develop skills to draw the desired state "TO BE" VSM
6. Learn to draw the "AS IS" and the "TO BE" Maps
7. Material and Information flow VSM icons

The programme will be conducted by Industry Experts from Mr. Charudatta Atre.

Mr. Charudatta Atre is a Qualified Mechanical Engineer and industry expert with more than 30 years of experience the field of Quality, Lean Management, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma etc. Mr. Charudatta is qualified Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. He has conducted several training programs, work shops in topics related to Lean Management, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma etc. Mr. Charudatta Atre is former Associate Vice President of Quality with Kalyani Maxion Wheels Pvt Ltd. He has also served in TUV SUD South Asia, Saint Gobain Sekurit Ltd.

REGISTRATION :

Prior registration for participation is necessary. Number of participants is limited and will be accepted on ‘First Come First Serve’ basis. A Certificate of participation will be issued to participants.
